Walk or hike the dune trails in one of three state parks and seven county parks. Muskegon County attracts recreational boaters and fisherman alike to a collection of inland lakes and rivers. With over 60 miles of trails to weave through the area, follow them to a deck or patio for a sunset toast.

Enjoy a 10k trail run or a pristinely groomed fat bike trail at Mosquito Creek Trails, while the Hart-Montague and Musketawa Trails offer 24 and 26 miles of paved rail-to-trail recreation. To top it all off, three state parks and numerous county and city parks offer options for hiking our signature sand dunes.
